In tune with the constitution of the Society for Animal Reproduction and Improvement, the society will be having her second biennial conference in March 2026. The national executives of the society at a recent meeting approved that the conference should hold alongside the 2026 annual conference of the Nigerian Society for Animal Production (NSAP) which will be hosted by the Nigerian Defence Academy in Kaduna. This would be a copy of the 2024 maiden conference which held at the University of Ibadan with an impressive attendance.
The Local Organising Committee for the conference is currently being put together under the chairmanship of Professor Danjuma Zaharadeen, the current Head of Department of Animal Science at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
