MISSION AND VISION
1. To maintain a forum, where solutions are offered to mitigate existing and potential gaps in animal reproduction for the benefit of the stakeholders
2. To ensure that Animal Reproduction Practitioners in Nigeria uphold the ethics of their specialty and that of their Professional Councils.
3. To advance the education, science, technology and art of Animal Reproduction and livestock production.
4. To promote all Animal Reproduction activities and the welfare of animals.
5. To promote rapid scientific and efficient reproduction, and multiplication of food, companion and work animals for the benefit of humanity.
6. To engage in research and other activities to conserve the animal genetic resources of Nigeria, and prevent further genetic erosion, dilution or genetic loss.
7. To advise and encourage the enactment and the enforcement of laws that will guarantee efficient animal reproduction and conservation of Nigeria’s animal genetic resources
8. To adopt and advocate for animal reproduction technologies that guarantee animal health
9. To publish a high quality scientific Journal to be named Journal of Animal Reproduction and Improvement (JARI) and any other relevant publication(s) in the field of Animal Reproduction.
10. To organize bi-annual general meetings (BGMs) where topical issues about the Society will be discussed, and ensure participation by members of the Society and other professionals.
11. To seek the benefits and welfare of all members of the Society
12. To affiliate, cooperate or partner with other Societies, Associations, Organizations, Institutions or Individuals with interest in Animal Reproduction in Nigeria or anywhere in the world.
